This gilded wooden armchair is an outstanding example of the executive quality of the 18th-century Venetian workers. The armchair is masterfully sculpted in every part, from the legs with exceptional volutes, to the carved and richly carved armrests, up to the backrest that presents the classic Venetian Baroque motifs also present at Ca ‘Rezzonico. All the gilding is coeval and original in all its parts.
